Melanie June Photography is a wedding photographer and videographer primarily serving Texas and California who documents wedding days with intention and care. From the quiet, tearful moments to unfiltered laughter, each part of the day is captured naturally and candidly.


With a guided documentary approach, I move seamlessly between being a fly on the wall and a friendly presence, whether that means standing back during meaningful moments or chatting with your memaw about your beautiful dress.


While weddings may follow a familiar structure, every celebration is unique and deserves a thoughtful, fresh perspective. I strive to offer that to each of my clients by capturing their day as it truly unfolds and supporting them throughout the entire experience.

What's up, y'all! My name is Melanie, but call me Mel!


So, a little bit about me — my mama's a Texan through and through, so that means “ain’t,” “fixin’,” and some serious Southern cookin' are pretty much in my DNA (even though I personally was born in California, like all real Texan-transplants, haha!).


If you're imagining someone who likes to keep it lighthearted and a bit quirky, you’re in the right place! I’m the person who’s always a little clumsy (but in the best way, I promise 😂), probably over-caffeinated, and definitely going to send a few too many emojis and exclamation points — because I'm just so darn happy and excited for you - seriously!! I am 110% my client's biggest fan.


My main goal is to make sure you have the most memorable day ever with the best support along the way. I believe in showing love and care to everyone I meet, and I’d be very excited and honored to be chosen to capture your day!
